Acht Kinder Farmers Co-Op and Market supports, advocates, and promotes farmers, buying local, and supporting the community and community farmers market. We create grants for farmers and school gardening, support youth development, and community learning.
Mission
Our goal is to support farmers, farmers market, artisan vendors , AND the community to create a sustainable system that creates a synergy of support meeting everyone's needs without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.
Vision
Growing up with farming and entrepreneurship in a small town, we understand the struggles and challenges that are faced with weather, economics, resources, growth, and other factors faced daily. We also understand that a community that supports small business and farming helps to bond the community, give opportunity to many in the community, and allows a community and its farmers market vendors/farmers to shape their destiny together in a positive and uplifting manner.

Advocacy, education, grants, and support for the needs our our farmers, farmers market vendors and patrons, along with making sure our community benefits from our business presence is important to carry us through the changes that are happening with fast growth to our towns in Texas. We all benefit from taking care of each other and finding ways to always benefit each other...that creates joy, sustainability, and a strong support system.
There will always be times in a town when we need to pull together. One of our goals is to make sure that when and if that time comes, we still know each other...new and old...so that we can be there to help each other, know each other, and build a strong community for our families now and our young one's futures also.
